According to the latest 2026 Passport Index published by the London-based global residence and citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners, Bangladesh ranks 96th in the world in terms of passport strength, offering its citizens visa-free or simplified entry to 36 countries and territories.

The Henley Passport Index is widely regarded as one of the world’s most authoritative rankings of passport strength, measuring the travel freedom enjoyed by citizens based on the number of destinations they can access without obtaining a visa in advance.

Under the 2026 rankings, Bangladeshi passport holders can travel to 36 destinations through a combination of visa-free access, visa-on-arrival facilities, and, in some cases, electronic visa (e-Visa) arrangements.

Destinations Accessible to Bangladeshi Passport Holders

Asia: Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and Timor-Leste.

Caribbean: The Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Africa: Burundi, Cabo Verde, Comoros, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Madagascar, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia.

Oceania: Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Micronesia, Niue, Samoa, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.
